On 11 May 2003, we made an emotional farewell to Maine Road.
It proved to be a day full of emotion as City played our last-ever game at the atmospheric ground before moving to the Etihad Stadium and acclaimed photographer Kevin Cummins was there to chronicle the occasion.
A sell-out crowd saw Shaun Goater – playing his final game for the Club - skipper the team, against Southampton.

Though we lost the match 1-0, it was an unforgettable occasion for those lucky enough to be there.
