In the blink of an eye, Pep Guardiola‘s squad have seen preparation for our top-flight clash with Arsenal come and go. Our bout with City’s title challengers ended in a 2-2 draw, including a late John Stones equaliser that saw the Etihad erupt on Sunday evening.
And the team were straight back into the City Football Academy on Monday with the Club’s attention immediately switched to the Carabao Cup.

City enter the competition in the third round of the competition. And on Tuesday 24 September, at 19:45 (UK), we welcome Championship outfit Watford to the Etihad Stadium, our fourth home fixture in 10 days.
The team found the perfect balance of recovery and on-the-pitch preparation, with the players fully focused on the task ahead.
