The long wait is almost over.

City return to Premier League action next Wednesday, when we play host to Arsenal at the Etihad.

More than three months since we last played, we can’t wait to get back on the pitch - though everyone at the Club is just sorry that you can’t be with us due to the safety restrictions in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

But though, for now, none of us are able to be there at the Etihad, we have some new, exciting CityTV content lined up for you, aimed at entertaining, informing and engaging all City fans as we resume Premier League action.

CITYZENS AT HOME

Every matchday, home and away, starting with next Wednesday’s eagerly awaited resumption at home to Arsenal, we’ll kick off the big game build-up with a new programme called, fittingly, ‘We’re Not Really Here’, in honour of the chant synonymous with all City fans.

We’ve lined up a number of top presenters with Cel Spellman, Kyle Walker, Natalie Pike and Hugh Ferris all part of our team, with Cel and Kyle hosting next week’s opening show.

‘We’re Not Really Here’ will be a live, hour-long interactive show, featuring a host of big-name guests who will offer their thoughts and opinions on the key talking points ahead of that day’s game.

Aside from our special guests, you the City fans will be the other crucial ingredient in ‘We’re Not Really Here’.

We will be inviting supporters to get in touch throughout the show, letting us know your views as well how you are experiencing the big matches behind closed doors.

And then we’ll be back on air again immediately after the final whistle to reflect on the action as well as bringing you full post-match reaction.

The programme will be accessible across all our platforms with fans able to access ‘We’re Not Really Here’ via our app and website along with our official Facebook, YouTube and Twitter channels along with Tik-Tok.

And that’s not all.

Starting later next week, we’ll also be launching ‘Talking City’, an exciting new weekly feature show, taking a more in-depth, analytical look at City following the resumption of action.

We’ll be providing more information about all our exciting new programmes in the coming days – as well as letting you know details about how you can get involved.

So, while we may be apart for now, we can still come together.

‘We’re Not Really Here’ and ‘Talking City’ – you won’t want to miss them!
