We take on Eddie Howe’s side at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday 21 February, with kick-off set for 20:00 (UK).
City come into the tie in excellent form, winning our last four in all competitions and unbeaten in seven.
That run includes a 3-1 win over Newcastle in the second leg of our League Cup semi-final, building on a 2-0 first leg triumph in the north east.
An Omar Marmoush brace and Tijjani Reijnders effort saw us race into a three-goal lead inside 32 minutes, meaning Anthony Elanga’s second half goal was a mere consolation.
But the visitors will travel to the Etihad in confident mood having won their last three fixtures, with each one played away from home.
First, they beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 in the Premier League before a comeback victory against Aston Villa in the FA Cup, which incidentally will see them face City again in the fifth round.
Most recently, they cruised past Qarabag in their UEFA Champions League Knockout Round play-off first leg, winning 6-1 in Baku.
It all points towards an exciting encounter at the Etihad, with the players hard at work at the CFA to ensure we’re ready for the contest.
