It was straight back to the training ground for City after Tuesday’s historic Champions League semi-final triumph over Paris Saint-Germain.
Pep Guardiola’s men could cap off a memorable week, in which we reached our first European final in 51 years, by clinching the Premier League title when Chelsea visit the Etihad Stadium on Saturday 8 May.
Results elsewhere could guarantee top spot regardless of our result, but City will want to claim the trophy as soon as possible by beating Thomas Tuchel’s side.
With this in mind, it comes as no surprise that training was conducted with a typically high intensity.
