As the saying goes, there is no rest for the wicked.

Manchester City may have ended our winter break with a comfortable 2-0 win over West Ham at the Etihad, but there is no chance of the players resting on their laurels.

The next challenge for Pep Guardiola’s men is an away trip to third-placed Leicester City, and the team were back at the CFA preparing for Saturday’s late kick-off.

The victory at home to the Hammers opened up a four-point gap between us and the Foxes, but City are under no illusions about the threat Brendan Rodgers’ side can pose, especially on home soil.

Success often comes from hard-work, and there were plenty of determined faces at the CFA this morning ahead of what will be a busy fixture schedule over the next few weeks.

Our tricky trip down to the midlands is followed by a Champions League Last 16 First Leg clash away to Real Madrid on Wednesday 26 February.

We then switch the Bernabeu for Wembley ahead of our Carabao Cup final against Aston Villa the following Sunday.

And what better way to gain some momentum ahead of that hectic period than with a win against a high-flying opponent at their own ground?
