Kevin De Bruyne returned to training following his injury layoff ahead of Manchester City’s game against Everton.

The Belgian midfielder has missed seven matches since he was forced off in the 2-0 win over Aston Villa last month, but he is now taking part in full sessions and Pep Guardiola confirmed his condition has significantly improved.

City face Everton at Goodison Park on Wednesday 17 February, with kick-off at 20:15 (UK).

The Premier League leaders will be looking to extend our winning streak to 17 games as we bid to strengthen our grip at the top of the table and victory would take us 10 points clear of second placed Manchester United.
