Pep Guardiola’s team welcome the north Londoners to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday 23 November at 17:30 (UK) with the aim of bouncing back from our defeat to Brighton before the pause in domestic action.
However, in our last league encounter with Ange Postecoglu’s side – we recorded a 2-0 victory in the capital thanks to an Erling Haaland brace in May en route to our historic fourth straight Premier League title.
But, the previous meeting between the teams saw Tottenham win 2-1 in the Carabao Cup to secure passage into the quarter-finals of the competition at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
It means we’ll have to be at our very best to collect three points this weekend and apply pressure to league leaders Liverpool who don’t play until Sunday.
This weekend’s round of fixtures could also be crucial to FPL Managers who are looking to maximise their points returns before the busy festive period.
With that in mind, read the latest Scout Report before Saturday 23 November’s 11:00 (UK) deadline.
CITY STAR
Kevin De Bruyne (£9.4m) played his first minutes after returning from injury in Gameweek 11. He looks set to be a great differential from Gameweek 12 onwards.
He’s already recorded a double-digit haul against Ipswich in Gameweek 2 and could thrive against Gameweek 12 opponents Spurs.
Despite only having played 381 minutes so far this season, De Bruyne has produced 30 crosses.
The midfielder has also created the same number of chances (16) as Morgan Rogers (£5.6m), who has played 895 minutes, and one more than corner-taking Declan Rice (£6.3m), who has played 830 minutes.
This season, De Bruyne has created a chance every 24 minutes, placing the Belgian seventh among midfielders.
ONE TO WATCH
Dominic Solanke (£7.7m) represents Spurs’ chief goal threat. The forward has produced four goals and two assists in the last seven gameweeks.
DIFFERENTIALS
Elsewhere, Noni Madueke (£6.4m) and Evanilson (£5.9m) remain low-owned gems who have good potential in Gameweek 12.
Madueke has registered five attacking returns so far this season and faces Leicester in Gameweek 12.
Bournemouth forward Evanilson has returned in all the last four gameweeks, in that time registering 32 points.
