Newcastle scraped through to the fourth round of the prestigious cup competition following a 7-6 penalty shootout win after a 3-3 draw with Bournemouth.
City will be looking to win silverware at the earliest possible moment, which the Carabao Cup provides.
However, standing in our way are the current holders who have also found form in the Premier League which has seen them climb to sixth.
With that in mind, Guardiola’s team were hard at work on Monday, finetuning in our final training session before what will be a difficult and exciting trip to the Magpies.
