Pep Guardiola‘s side trained for the penultimate time at the CFA before jetting out to Istanbul as the UEFA Champions League final comes into full focus.
We travel to Turkey for the European showpiece buoyed by sealing the Premier League and FA Cup Double across the domestic season – thanks to our 2-1 victory over Manchester United at Wembley in our previous outing.
However, against a team with rich history in the competition in Inter, we will certainly need to be at our best to secure the Treble and our place in the history books.
Simone Inzaghi’s side finished third in Serie A in 2022/23 and have tasted defeat only twice in the competition so far (two group games with Bayern Munich).
And the Nerazzurri reached the final thanks to knockout wins over Porto, Benfica and AC Milan.
As a result, we were putting in the graft on a sunny Manchester afternoon in order to give us the best chance of lifting the iconic trophy for the fist time in City’s history.
