Pep Guardiola‘s squad were working hard at the City Football Academy ahead of a tough visit to the London Stadium. 

While there was the excitement of the league phase draw of the Champions League, the players’ main thoughts were on the Hammers in preparation for the game on Saturday 31 August at 17:30 (UK).

It’s early days, but City have made a strong start to the season with back-to-back victories over Chelsea and Ipswich. 

And the squad would love to go into the international break with a hat-trick of wins by overcoming Julen Lopetegui’s side in a tricky fixture.
