Tyrone Marshall writes: “Guardiola‘s desire to see his players find some “rhythm” ahead of next week’s trip to Madrid probably leads to a 4-3-3 against the Hammers and a pretty strong team as well.
“That should mean Fernandinho and Aymeric Laporte together at the back, with the more attacking full-backs of Joao Cancelo and Benjamin Mendy starting.
“Rodri can hold the midfield together with Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva reunited in those attacking positions as the most likely combination to start in the Bernabeu.
“Guardiola‘s options are limited in attack so Riyad Mahrez and Bernardo Silva are likely to flank Sergio Aguero, with Phil Foden ready to come in in a wide role as he did against Arsenal earlier in the season.”

Mark Lawrenson writes: “The one thing Hammers boss David Moyes will have been working on is defensively, because they were woeful at the back last time out in their draw with Brighton.
“Even so, I don’t think West Ham will have enough about them to take even a point away from City.
“Prediction: 3-0.”
