We enter the fixture buoyed by our 1-0 FA Cup victory at Spurs last time out and with the aim of extending our winning streak to eight straight matches in all competitions.

City’s last meeting with Vincent Kompany’s side came in our strong 3-0 opening Premier League day success at Turf Moor thanks to goals from Erling Haaland (two) and Rodrigo.

However, against a Burnley team looking to aid their survival bid, collecting three points is far from a formality.

CITY STAR

Kyle Walker (£5.4m) offers major all-round potential in City’s match against Burnley in Gameweek 22 of Fantasy Premier League.

The right-back is the highest-scoring Fantasy defender in Guardiola’s squad this season, combining two assists with five clean sheets to amass 65 points.

Walker has stepped up his potential for goals and assists considerably when compared with the previous campaign.

Indeed, the England international’s 11 shots and 16 chances created are each more than double his respective totals of five and six from 2022/23.

Burnley’s struggles in front of goal offer further encouragement. The Clarets have scored just 21 goals this season, the second fewest in the league.

ONE TO WATCH

Zeki Amdouni (£5.3m) is the visitors’ form player, with two goals and five bonus points in Burnley’s last two fixtures.

DIFFERENTIALS

Elsewhere, Tottenham Hotspur’s fit-again James Maddison (£7.8m) and Brentford’s Ivan Toney (£8.0m) are low-owned assets with strong potential and fixtures.

Maddison, who returned three goals and six assists in his first 10 matches of the season, goes head-to-head with Toney in midweek.

Toney, meanwhile, scored on his return to action in Gameweek 21. Crucially, the Bees and City are the only two sides with a Double Gameweek 25, further adding to Toney’s appeal.
