City fought back in the Premier League to beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-2 under the lights at the Etihad.

Pep Guardiola’s team started on the front foot with Rico Lewis and Erling Haaland having chances to break the deadlock.

But after all our pressure, it was the visitors who took the lead.

Ederson passed the ball out of defence, but Rodrigo was under pressure and could only the turn the ball into the path of Dejan Kulusevski who steadied himself before he buried a shot into the corner.

And moments later it was two.

Harry Kane found space close to the touchline and his shot is parried out to Royal who headed in the loose ball.

After the break, we heeded Pep’s half time words and attacked from the off.

A scramble in the box lead to the ball dropping to Julian Alvarez, who lashed the ball into the top corner, to get us back into the contest.

Just two minutes later Erling Haaland stooped into head home the equaliser and suddenly we were chasing a winner.

This proved to be our future.

As Riyad Mahrez drove at Ben Davies, he chucked in a stepover to create a bit of room and then fired a low drive that beat Hugo Lloris at his nearpost.

As the clock ticked onto the 90 minute mark, it was four.

Ederson launched a 70-yard clearance towards Mahrez and when the Spurs defender miscontrolled it, the Algerian pounced before holding his nerve to lift the ball over Lloris.
