Manchester City’s Carabao Cup third round tie against Wycombe Wanderers will be played on Tuesday 21 September.

The fixture, which takes place at the Etihad Stadium, will get under way at 19:45 (UK) as Pep Guardiola’s side begin the defence of the trophy we have won for the last four seasons.

It will be only the fourth competitive meeting between the two teams and the first since April 1999, when City suffered a 2-1 defeat at Maine Road in the old Division Two.

Ticket details will be released on mancity.com in due course.

The game will not be broadcast live on TV in the UK, but we will have full coverage on the official website and app throughout the evening.

There will be live updates in our Matchday Centre, which begins two hours before kick-off and includes our Matchday Live show that will start at 18:45.

A match report and post-match reaction from Guardiola and a player will be available shortly after the full-time whistle and you will be able to watch match highlights from 1:00 on Wednesday.

CITY+ subscribers will have the opportunity to watch a full-match replay from midnight after the game.
