Quinn will be part of our Matchday Live studio team on Sunday for the 16:30 (UK) kick-off with Paul Dickov alongside presenter Cel Spellman.
Over the course of a stellar 19-year top level career, Quinn established himself as one of English football’s most effective striking talents.
Having made his senior bow with Arsenal at the tender age of 17, Quinn subsequently made the move to City in 1990 joining the club in an £800,000 deal under Howard Kendall.
Quinn scored 78 goals in 245 games, including 20 in his first full season.
He also famously enjoyed the rare honour of scoring a goal and saving a penalty in the same match – against Derby in 1991 – after going between the sticks when Tony Coton was sent off in the First Division game.
Our Matchday Centre live text updates start at 14:30 (UK) while the Matchday Live show begins at approximately 15:15 (UK) so our guests can discuss team news as they get it.
During the game you can also listen to live audio commentary from Alistair Mann – along with former City captain Andy Morrison - while our text commentary continues.
Afterwards, we will bring you all the reaction to the match.
Short highlights will be available from 20:15 (UK) with extended highlights and a CITY + full match replay accessible from midnight.
