First up, we defeated our cross-city neighbours and rivals, Manchester United, in the 91st derby between the two clubs.
Pep Guardiola’s men produced a hugely impressive, professional performance to emerge victorious from Old Trafford.
Then, we headed to Paris for the Ballon d’Or and what a night for City as we were crowned men’s Club of the Year while Erling Haaland won the Gerd Muller Trophy for top seasonal scorer, finished second in the main men’s award while Ederson finished second in the Yashin Trophy.
That positive energy was very apparent in training as we now look ahead to the Bournemouth game on Saturday.
We will be aiming to build on the derby victory as we go in search of three points against Andoni Iraola’s Cherries in front of an excited, expectant Etihad.
