Gallery: Magic Mahrez inspires five-star City

A Riyad Mahrez hat-trick helped fire City to an impressive 5-0 win over Burnley on our return to Premier League action.

Looking to bounce back domestically after last weekend’s loss to Spurs, City made the perfect start as Mahrez fired us into a third minute lead and the Algerian soon struck again to double our advantage.

There was then a special moment as Benjamin Mendy registered his first-ever City goal with a sweetly struck volley.

The goals continued to flow after the break. First Ferran Torres notched up his maiden Premier League goal before Mahez sealed his hat-trick with a fine header.
