The new statue featuring iconic heroes Colin Bell, Francis Lee and Mike Summerbee takes centre stage on the cover of our latest matchday programme.

This weekend’s edition, for the Crystal Palace game, sees a wonderful illustration of the tribute to our Holy Trinity.

It shows City fans looking up at it in awe – a sight that will become the norm in the weeks, months and years ahead, a truly wonderful thought!

The cover was created by highly-respected creative, Dave Flanagan, who is designing all our Premier League covers across the 2023/24 campaign.

Inside the pages, meanwhile, we have plenty for you to get your teeth into.

The main interview is Julian Alvarez as he discusses the Treble winning season, his success with Argentina at the World Cup and his hopes for another trophy soon in the FIFA Club World Cup.

He also talks about where on the pitch he prefers to play, receiving more minutes this season and the return of Kevin De Bruyne.

We have plenty of updates from around the club in our ‘In the City’ section, which features news of a meeting between Pep Guardiola and chess grandmaster Magnus Carlsen, an award for Jeremy Doku and reaction to Micah Hamilton’s debut in the Champions League.

We look back at ‘How the Treble Was Won’ as we flashback to our 2022/23 campaign while Dr Gary James heads back to 2014/15 in his ‘City Reflections’ column.

CITY V PALACE | ORDER THE MATCHDAY PROGRAMME

Former player and manager Peter Reid tells us all about ‘My Maine Game’ while Bernardo Silva and Jordan Ayew go ‘Head to Head’.

There’s the usual popular features, too, like the manager’s notes, the thoughts of Mike Summerbee in his ‘Buzzword’ column, as well as match reports and opposition spotlight to name a few.

Make sure you get your hands on the official matchday programme, which costs £4, because it really is the perfect way to get you in the mood for the big game.

As well as being available for purchase at the ground, supporters who may not be able to attend the game can also order it online.

What’s more, fans will also be able to order a programme subscription.
