But which three players are up for the vote?
There were a number of outstanding contributions during August, but here are the three contenders...
GABRIEL JESUS
Our Brazilian forward has made a scintillating start to the new campaign.
He was electric against Norwich, and a constant threat down the right flank as he set up goals for Jack Grealish and Raheem Sterling.
He continued his fine form against Arsenal last weekend, setting up Ilkay Gundogan‘s opening goal and then scoring himself as City posted back-to-back 5-0 home wins.
A strong contender!
FERRAN TORRES
A bright start to the season from our 21 year-old Spain forward.
Ferran’s intelligent running and movement has been noted by a number of pundits and Pep compared his style to that of Jamie Vardy.
He was unlucky to see a goal ruled out against Norwich, but he made up for the disappointment with a couple of goals and an assist against Arsenal.
He’ll be there or thereabouts in the voting...
AYMERIC LAPORTE
Laporte has hardly put a foot wrong this campaign with a strong an confident start on the back of an impressive Euros with Spain.
Two clean sheets out of two from his first two appearances and a goal against Norwich - not to mention at least two near-misses - Laporte looks in excellent form.
But can he gather enough votes? If you think so, vote below for him, Ferran or Jesus.
The poll closes at noon on 9 September.
