Tickets for Manchester City's Premier League home game with Everton on Sunday, May 23 are now sold out.

Manchester City is delighted to confirm that it will welcome back 10,000 supporters to the Etihad Stadium for the Club’s final Premier League match of the season, at home to Everton on Sunday 23rd May, kick-off 4pm.

This follows confirmation today from the UK Government that Step 3 of the roadmap out of lockdown will come into effect on 17th May, allowing larger venues to open with 10,000 people (or 25% of capacity, whichever is lower).

The Club will operate a ballot for this match, with the majority of tickets made available to 2019/20 Seasoncard holders and Seasonal Hospitality members. A small allocation will also be made available to existing Cityzens Matchday members.

Commenting on the return of Manchester City supporters to the Etihad Stadium, Manchester City’s Managing Director of Operations, Danny Wilson said: “We have missed the presence of our supporters on each and every match day throughout the pandemic, so it is fantastic news that we will be able to welcome them back to the Etihad Stadium for the Club’s final match of the league season.

“The safety and welfare of every supporter who attends a match at the Etihad Stadium continues to be our priority and we have prepared exhaustively over several months to ensure that Government and Premier League protocols are fully implemented within our matchday operation.”

Simon Walker, Chair of City Matters, the Club’s elected fan representative panel, added: “City Matters has worked closely with the Club to ensure all groups of fans have fair representation in the ballot.

“During our discussions a number of proposals were made by City Matters, including the suggestion to make an allocation of tickets available to fans based on Ticket Points.

“We are pleased that the Club has taken our feedback on board and look forward to seeing our fans back at the Etihad Stadium”

How will the ballot process work?

Supporters who enter the ballot will be randomly drawn once the ballot closes at 11:59pm on Thursday 13th May.

The Club will send an e-mail to all supporters who qualify based on their Ticket Points, and all supporters successful in the ballot on Friday 14th May to provide further clarity on the ticket purchasing process.

From Saturday 15th May to Sunday 16th May, these supporters will then have an opportunity to purchase tickets.

Supporters who are unsuccessful will be placed in a balloted ‘reserve pot’ and notified in advance, by e-mail, of the ‘reserve pot’ and sales window.

From Monday 17th May, if tickets remain unsold after the 48 hour window has closed, supporters in the ‘reserve pot’ will have the opportunity to purchase tickets until such time the tickets are sold out. There is no guarantee that the opportunity to buy will be offered to the ‘reserve pot’.

We recommend supporters ensure their e-mail address is up to date and check the correct filters are set up to avoid e-mails being sent to junk or spam folders.

Health and Safety Measures

The Club will implement a range of health and safety measures on matchday and we ask that you take note of the following:

• COVID-19 Supporter Code of Conduct – you will be required to agree and adhere to our code of conduct and comply with all relevant policies and terms and conditions.

• Health Questionnaire – all supporters will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to attending the match. This questionnaire will be sent to you 72 hours prior to kick off.

• NHS Track & Trace – to comply with the UK Government’s Track & Trace programme, QR codes will be available on-site to scan via the NHS COVID-19 app.

• Mobile Ticketing – supporters will enter the stadium via their mobile device (Google Pay or Apple Wallet), rather than using an access card or paper ticket. For more information on using mobile tickets, click here. If you have any concerns with using a mobile ticket, please contact Supporter Services.

• Photo ID – supporters aged 16 and above, including personal assistants, must bring photo ID to verify they are the named ticket holder to gain entry to the stadium.

• Face Coverings – supporters must wear a face covering at all times, with the exception of when eating or drinking. Please ensure you bring proof of exemption to the stadium on match day if you are unable to wear a face covering.
