Pep Guardiola’s side will host former City legend Vincent Kompany’s Championship leaders for a place in the final four.
The match will be played over the weekend of 18/19 March with our exact kick-off date and time to be confirmed on mancity.com and our official app in due course.
For former City skipper Kompany, who spent 11 glorious years at the Club between 2008 and 2019, it will be an emotional return to the Etihad, with the Belgian enjoying a superb first season in charge at Turf Moor.
Ironically, Kompany’s final game for City was the 2019 FA Cup final when he led us to victory over Watford.
The draw was made on BBC 1 following Wednesday night’s fifth round tie between Tottenham and Sheffield United.
City, who have now reached the FA Cup quarter-finals for the past five seasons, booked our place in the last eight thanks to Tuesday night’s emphatic 3-0 win away at Bristol City.

Burnley meanwhile sealed their quarter-final ticket thanks to a 1-0 win over Fleetwood.
City’s passage to the last eight of the FA Cup also means our Premier League encounter with West Ham United, which was scheduled for 16:30pm (UK) on Sunday 19 March, will be moved.
The full details of that change will also follow on mancity.com and our app once confirmed.
