See who the scout has backed to influence Fantasy Premier League proceedings before City's league season resumes with a trip to Leeds.

Pep Guardiola’s side made the perfect return to domestic football by edging a five-goal thriller with Liverpool to progress to the Carabao Cup Quarter-Finals by 3-2.

Goals from Erling Haaland, Riyad Mahrez and Nathan Ake were enough to see us reach the last-eight stage.

Six-days after the success we travel to Elland Road on Wednesday 28 December with kick-off scheduled for 20:00pm (UK).

Check out our latest scout report below ahead of the 11am (UK) deadline on Monday 26 December.

CITY STAR

Kevin De Bruyne (£12.6m) can again prove decisive as City visit Leeds United in Gameweek 17 of Fantasy Premier League.

The Belgian visits Elland Road in fine form. He scored the opener in our 2-0 friendly win over Girona last weekend, then supplied two assists in the 3-2 Carabao Cup victory over Liverpool on Thursday evening.

That mirrors his displays before the season break for the FIFA World Cup in November.

De Bruyne has combined three goals with 10 assists in 2022/23 Fantasy, blanking in just three of his 13 starts.

The underlying statistics show his huge influence on Pep Guardiola’s attack.

His 45 key passes is a league-high and almost twice the total of any team-mate, with Ilkay Gundogan (£7.3m) next best on 23.

The 31-year-old’s 15 big chances created also ranks top this term and is only two fewer than his total of 17 from last season.

ONE TO WATCH

Meanwhile, Rodrigo (£6.3m) will be Leeds’ dangerman on Wednesday evening, the Spaniard scoring nine goals in 13 outings.

DIFFERENTIALS

Elsewhere, Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah (£6.5m) and Tottenham Hotspur’s Dejan Kulusevski (£8.0m) can prove low-owned gems for Gameweek 17.

The English striker is expected to lead the line for Arsenal as a result of Gabriel Jesus’ (£8.0m) spell on the sidelines through injury.

Kulusevski visits Brentford having produced an assist in each of his previous two matches for Spurs.
