The Brazilian winger has spent the first half of the current European campaign with Portuguese side Pacos de Ferreira and will now return to his homeland for the next 12 months.
Based in Salvador, Kayky’s club will next year play in the Bahia state league as well as Serie A, the top tier of Brazilian domestic football.
He joined City in the summer of 2021, signing a five-year deal at the Etihad Stadium.
The 19-year-old is the youngest ever debutant and youngest Copa Libertadores goal scorer at his first club Fluminense.
He played 13 times for our EDS side in 2021/22, scoring six goals and assisting four as we successfully defended our PL2 crown.
He made his senior City debut in our FA Cup win over Swindon Town in January, before making a further appearance for Pep Guardiola’s side as a late substitute in our 4-0 Premier League win over Norwich in February.
Everyone at Manchester City wishes Kayky all the best with his loan move.
