Today’s City v Luton game is dedicated to our charity, City in the Community, with the cover of our matchday programme showcasing this special focus.

The illustration of John Stones in the Hatters edition pays tribute to the creative talents of our soccer school CITC participants who submitted their drawings of City star players, with a selection of these visuals used on our social media channels and Matchday Live show throughout this afternoon.

In the publication itself, we have a main interview with Ruben Dias.

One of our captains for the 2023/24 season, Dias discusses the campaign to date, the need to focus on the here and now and the ‘special bond’ in the squad which has enabled City to do ‘brilliant things together’.

He also discusses the FIFA Club World Cup trophy and why that’s important to him as well as the passionate ambition he has to win more honours with City.

Check out his thoughts in full in the Hatters edition of the programme, which is out now ahead of this afternoon’s 15:00 (UK) kick-off.

There is a match report from our games against Real Madrid, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa and we have plenty of updates from around the club in our ‘In the City’ news spread, including an iconic photograph of Pep Guardiola.

We look back at ‘How the Treble Was Won’ as we flashback to our 2022/23 campaign and a Wembley win over Sheffield United in the FA Cup semi-final and a vital victory over Arsenal in the Premier League.

Dr Gary James’s City Reflections column looks back at the 2008/09 season under Mark Hughes while Erling Haaland and Carlton Morris go Head to Head.

We also find out ’10 things’ about midfield marvel Matheus Nunes.

There are the usual popular features, too, like the manager’s notes, the thoughts of Mike Summerbee in his ‘Buzzword’ column and opposition spotlight to name a few.

Make sure you get your hands on the official matchday programme, which costs £4, because it really is the perfect way to get you in the mood for the big game.
