BBC One will broadcast City's FA Cup quarter-final tie at home to Newcastle United later this month.

The game at the Etihad Stadium will take place on Saturday 16 March and will kick-off at 17.30 (UK).

It will be City’s third clash with United this season.

We won both Premier League games home and away – 1-0 and 2-3 respectively - but exited the Carabao Cup to Eddie Howe’s side.

City made it through to this stage by seeing off Huddersfield 5-0 in the third round, Tottenham 1-0 in the fourth round and Luton 6-2 in the fifth round.

Newcastle’s route included beating Sunderland 3-0 in the third round, Fulham 2-0 in the fourth round and Blackburn on penalties in the fifth round after the tie finished 1-1 after extra-time.

City are defending champions, having won our seventh FA Cup in 2023 by beating Manchester United 2-1 in the last showpiece at Wembley.
