De Bruyne scored three goals and provided four assists throughout the month – and helped us earn victories over Liverpool, Southampton, Leicester and Arsenal during that time.
He scored the second in the 4-1 home win over Jurgen Klopp’s men and also assisted Jack Grealish for the fourth of the afternoon that day.
The Belgian playmaker then set up Haaland for the second in a 4-1 away win at Southampton.
KDB also assisted Haaland for his second in the 3-1 home victory over Leicester City.
He scored a brace in the 4-1 home victory over Arsenal as well as assisting John Stones for the vital second goal just before the break.
Haaland, meanwhile, played four and won four across the month – scoring six goals and providing two assists.
He bagged two in the 4-1 win over the Saints, another two in the 3-1 victory over the Foxes, one in the 4-1 triumph over the Gunners and the early opener in the 2-1 win over Fulham, that goal bringing up his 50th across all competitions this season and equalling Andrew Cole and Alan Shearer’s record of 34 goals in the Premier League, a target he surpassed in May’s 3-0 win over West Ham.
Haaland may be known for goals but he turned provider in the win over Arsenal, setting up De Bruyne for both his goals against the Gunners.
De Bruyne and Haaland will face tough competition from fellow nominees Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace), Alexander Isak (Newcastle United), Diogo Jota (Liverpool), Dominic Solanke (Bournemouth), Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) and Callum Wilson (Newcastle United).
