Just over 12 hours after impressively despatching Bristol City 3-0 in the fifth round of the FA Cup, Pep Guardiola’s squad were put through their paces at the CFA.
Tuesday’s win at Ashton Gate rounded off a gruelling schedule which saw us play five consecutive games on the road across the Cup, Premier League and Champion League.
However, City are back on home soil this Saturday when we entertain Newcastle United in a key league game that kicks-off at 12.30pm (UK time).

And our build up to the visit of Eddie Howe’s side began in earnest on Wednesday with the squad taking part in a recovery session at the CFA.
What’s more, with City still in the hunt for silverware on three fronts, the lads were in great spirits as they went about their work.
