Pep Guardiola’s team welcome Steve Cooper’s side to the Etihad Stadium for Saturday 23 September’s 15:00 (UK) kick-off.
We enter the fixture as the only team in the division who hold an 100% record in the league so far thanks to victories in our opening five matches.
This included our previous Premier League outing where we came from behind to win at West Ham as goals from Jeremy Doku, Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland nullified James-Ward-Prowse’s opener.
City have also received a potential boost ahead of the meeting with Forest as Guardiola revealed Jack Grealish could make his return from injury when we lock horns with Cooper’s men.
The England international hasn’t featured since August’s win at Sheffield United, but returned to the training field earlier this week.
And he and his teammates were once again in fine spirits at the City Football Academy ahead of what’s will certainly be a tough test on Saturday.
