Gallery: Warm weather training ahead of Saints trip

The sun was shining on the training pitches as City went through their final preparations for the Premier League clash with Southampton.

The Bank Holiday weekend kicked off in style as the warm weather arrived in Manchester.

But there was no day off at the CFA for the first team as they went through their final workout ahead of the trip to St Mary’s.

The Saints may be bottom of the table at the moment, but they are fighting for their Premier League survival and no one at City will be taking them lightly.

Certainly not with the title race hotting up and a chance to close the gap on leaders Arsenal who play a day later on the Sunday.
