Training: It's Hammer time for City!

City were back hard at work at the CFA on Friday afternoon, putting the finishing touches to preparations ahead of our first game of 2025 at home to West Ham United.

Pep Guardiola’s side welcome the Hammers to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday 4 January, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00 (UK).

Due to the blackout rules across English football, the fixture won’t be broadcast live in United Kingdom, meaning the Official Man City App will be the ideal place to follow the action.

City will step out seeking to build on last weekend’s important 2-0 triumph away at Leicester City.

Though the advent of the New Year has coincided with a plunge in temperatures across Manchester and beyond, the mood amongst the squad was buoyant as the players went about their work.
