Nathan Ake, Joao Cancelo, Ruben Dias and Zack Steffen were all back at the CFA to further bolster City’s preparations ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.
The quartet reported to the training ground seven days after City’s pre-season schedule began, following their involvement in EURO 2020 and the CONCACAF Nations League earlier this summer.
The immediate focus for the squad was on Tuesday night’s pre-season friendly at home to Preston North End, a game you can watch exclusively live on CITY+.
