Belgian pace ace Doku became a sky blue player yesterday and he was straight out on to the fields of the CFA with his new teammates.
He was put through his paces by assistant manager Juanma Lillo, alongside his team of coaches, in the absence of boss Pep Guardiola who is recuperating after routine back surgery.
Doku, who spoke of wanting to ‘fit well in the team’ when he chatted to Club TV in his arrival interview, will now look to impress as he integrates with the players, coaches and staff.
City were busy preparing for Sunday’s Premier League encounter with Sheffield United as we look to secure three points at Bramall Lane.
That would ensure three wins in three top-flight games for the Treble-winners but the Blades, newly-promoted to the English top-flight, will be a very tough proposition.
