Pep Guardiola’s men begin our drive for success in Europe’s elite competition at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday 18 September when we play host to Internazionale of Italy.
It’s a mouthwatering way to kick-off our continental league stage campaign, and serves as a repeat of the 2023 Champions League final in Istanbul that saw City secure a 1-0 victory to lift the famous trophy for the first time and so secure a historic Treble.
City will go into the match on the back of a perfect start to the new Premier League campaign, having won all four of our domestic matches to date to head the Premier League.
And as the countdown to Wednesday intensified, not surprisingly there was a positive mood as the squad got down to work at the CFA.
