Training: Gomez links up as City continue Newcastle preparations

New signing Sergio Gomez was a welcome addition to the City ranks at Thursday's training session at the CFA.

Our latest summer signing, who joined the Club from Anderlecht earlier this week, linked up with his new colleagues during Thursday’s session.

The highly rated Spanish Under-21 international has signed a four-year deal and looked right at home as he got straight into the swing of things with his City team mates.

With the focus trained on Sunday’s latest Premier League trip to Newcastle United, there was also the welcome sight of fellow summer arrival Kalvin Phillips back in business with the England international having missed last weekend’s win over Bournemouth.

And as gallery demonstrates, the lads were in great spirits as the countdown continues to Sunday’s trip to St James’ Park.
