Training: That Friday feeling!

City were back at the CFA on Friday morning for a recovery session as the focus switches to Sunday’s huge Premier League trip to Arsenal.

The morning after Thursday’s superb 2-0 Champions League victory over Italian champions Napoli, the emphasis was on recuperation as Pep Guardiola’s squad went through their individual paces.

The trip to the Emirates will round off a busy and demanding week that began with last Sunday’s superb 3-0 Manchester derby win over United.

In the wake of that result and that fine result against Napoli, not surprisingly the players were in great spirits as they went about their work.

But as our gallery illustrates there was no slacking as attention is trained on what should be a fascinating clash with Mikel Arteta’s side.
