Team news
Phil Foden has recovered from a knock sustained on international duty to start as Pep Guardiola makes three changes to the side that started against Manchester United a fortnight ago.
Cole Palmer is handed his first Premier League start as he comes into the side alongside Aymeric Laporte and Raheem Sterling, replacing Ruben Dias, Gabriel Jesus and Kevin De Bruyne.
The Belgian misses today’s game whilst he self-isolates following a positive COVID-19 test, as does Jack Grealish, who is short of fitness after returning from the international break with an injury.

SUBS: Steffen, Carson, Dias, Ake, Jesus, Zichenko, Fernandinho, Mahrez, McAtee.
EVERTON: Pickford, Coleman (c), Keane, Godfrey, Digne, Allan, Delph, Townsend, Gray, Gordon, Richarlison.

WATCH: Highlights: Manchester United 0-2 City
Last time out
Manchester City went into the November international break off the back of a memorable 2-0 win at Old Trafford.
An Eric Bailly own goal saw Pep Guardiola’s men take an early lead, before Bernardo Silva squeezed home a second on the stroke of half-time.
The victory represented our ninth win away to Manchester United in our past 14 visits, and ensured we reduced the gap on league leaders Chelsea to just three points after their home draw with Burnley.

Goals from Kevin De Bruyne, Gabriel Jesus and Phil Foden, plus an Ederson penalty save, had already ensured it was a match to savour before Sergio Aguero was introduced for the final 20 minutes.
And on his final Etihad appearance, the Argentine would grab a memorable brace to round off a perfect afternoon, which ended with City hoisting the Premier League trophy aloft.
Form Guide
Pep Guardiola’s men come into the tie having won each of our last two matches against Club Brugge and Manchester United respectively.
Defeat to Crystal Palace in our last domestic home game brought an end to an eight-match unbeaten run in the Premier League, which had stretched back to the opening day of the 2021-22 season.
After a bright start to the campaign, Everton are searching for their first win since the end of September, losing two and drawing three of their past five matches.
The Toffees currently sit 11th in the table, while City are just three points off the summit in second.
