Savinho was forced off at half-time against Chelsea last Sunday with a knock, while Rodrigo has only returned recently from a short break after a gruelling campaign last season with club and country.
The City boss says he is unsure whether one or both will be available for the Ipswich clash, while not completely ruling either out.
On Savinho, Guardiola said: “He feels better. I don’t think he’s completely top. He’s been in training.
“We’ll see today and tomorrow what we will do with him.”
Rodrigo clocked up 63 appearances for City and Spain in 2023/24.
He has been training separately as he builds up towards match fitness and could join the rest of the squad as soon as Friday afternoon.
“He’s getting better,” the boss said of the Spaniard.
“He’s not with the group. Maybe today [he can do] partial training.”
As for the possibility of Rodrigo featuring against Ipswich, Guardiola added: “I don’t think so, but we’ll see.”
