The first Manchester derby of the season will be contested at Old Trafford on Sunday 29 October, with kick-off scheduled for 15:30 (UK).
We enter the tie buoyed following our 2-1 victory over Brighton last time out in the Premier League where first-half goals from Julian Alvarez and Erling Haaland were enough to secure three points.
However, as history shows, form rarely plays an influential role when the two city rivals lock horns - meaning we’ll have to be at our scintillating best to beat Erik ten Hag’s side.
The previous encounter between the two teams was played in the first-ever all Manchester FA Cup final where an Ilkay Gundogan brace saw City record a historic 2-1 win at Wembley en route to our Treble triumph.
But who does the Scout believe will make their mark in the derby on Sunday?
FPL managers can find out by reading our latest report below ahead of Friday 27 October’s 18:30 (UK) deadline.
CITY STAR
Phil Foden (£7.6m) has been going under the radar of many Fantasy Premier League managers ahead of the Manchester derby in Gameweek 10.
The City midfielder can be found in just over 10% of squads.
Yet he has scored once and supplied three assists in his eight starts this season.
The underlying numbers show Foden’s all-round potential for more returns at Old Trafford.
His 23 chances created is at least double the total of any City player apart from the 19 of Julian Alvarez (£7.1m).
Furthermore, Foden’s 15 shots and eight shots in the box both rank third among Man City players this season.
The England star also has a prolific record in meetings with the Ten Hag’s side, scoring three goals last term.
ONE TO WATCH
Scot McTominay (£4.8m) is Manchester United’s form player, with three goals in their last two fixtures.
DIFFERENTIALS
Elsewhere, Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon (£5.6m) and Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz (£5.5m) are low-owned assets with strong form and fixtures.
Gordon visits Wolverhampton Wanderers on the back of two goals and three assists in his last four outings.
Luiz has scored all five of his goals this season in home matches and entertains promoted Luton Town.
