With a difficult trip to Sheffield United on Saturday, today was all about recovery, and the boys enjoyed some time in the pool and gym before leaving France to return home and begin Premier League preparations.
Our win in Marseille made it two wins from two in Group C of this season’s Champions League, putting us in pole position to top the standings.
It was a fine performance, with City’s passing as crisp and sharp as it has been all season.
