Stuart Pearce, Mick McCarthy and Kevin Campbell will be offering their expert analysis on the games against their former clubs - Nottingham Forest, Wolves and Arsenal.
Pearce is regarded as one of England’s greatest-ever defenders - a tough-tackling full-back who wore his heart on his sleeve.
He spent 12 years in the red of Forest and clocked up 401 appearances, many of them as captain as well as scoring 63 goals during that spell.
Pearce won two League Cups with Forest in 1989 and 1990. He was also an FA Cup runner up in 1991.
Pearce had a short spell as caretaker player-manager but left the City Ground in 1997, only to return as full-time boss from 2014-15.
Prior to that, he’d been manager at City for two years between 2005 and 2007.
McCarthy, meanwhile, arrived at Wolves in July 2006, replacing Glenn Hoddle in the hotseat.
He helped the club to the Play-Offs in his first season, where they lost to rivals West Brom before missing out on the Play-Offs by one spot and one place the following season.
Wanderers weren’t to be denied in 2008/09, though, as Big Mick led the club to the Championship title and he managed to keep them in the top-flight against the odds in the following two seasons, too, before departing in February 2012.
Campbell enjoyed a successful spell at Highbury, winning six major honours and hitting 46 goals across 146 league games.
He scored a hat-trick in the 1987/88 FA Youth Cup final triumph and also signed professional forms that season in February 1988.
Campbell helped Arsenal win the League Championship in 1990/91 and was also an integral figure as the Gunners won both the FA Cup and Coca-Cola Cup in 1993 and then the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1994.
Pearce will be joined by Paul Dickov and Robbie Earnshaw for the Forest game at the Etihad on Saturday 23 September, 15:00 (UK) kick-off.
McCarthy will be in the studio alongside Joleon Lescott and Darius Vassell for the clash with Wolves at Molineux on Saturday 30 September, 15:00 (UK) start.
Paul Dickov and David James will join Campbell for coverage of the Arsenal match at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday 8 October, 16:30 (UK) kick-off.
