Following his summer arrival from Chelsea, the combative midfielder made his 43rd appearance for the Club in the success at Craven Cottage - playing 82 minutes.
It represented his third start across our last four matches in all competitions as he continues to stamp his authority in our engine room.
And the Croatia international believes he’s firing on all cylinders after fully settling into life at the Etihad Stadium.
“I’m very happy. If you’re playing in such a team it’s really a pleasure and easy to play,” he declared.
“I love it and I have been loving it since the beginning and I’m getting in and playing. I’m feeling good.
“When you switch clubs it’s never easy maybe in the first months. I think I settled in quite good and quite well. I’m feeling quite comfortable.
“When you have a manager like Pep is it makes it much easier because he gives you the game plan and if you have top players they execute it.
“The Club is on a big level and I’ve enjoyed it since I arrived here.”
Kovacic’s compatriot Josko Gvardiol scored twice in our win over Fulham alongside goals from Phil Foden and Julian Alvarez.
The versatile defender’s brace means he’s now scored five goals in his last seven appearances in all competitions.
For Kovacic, he says he’s not surprised by his fellow Croatia international’s impact across the pitch.
He added: “He [Gvardiol] is playing unbelievable. I knew him already for a long time now and his quality is unbelievable. He can play up front or at the back, [he’s] an unbelievable player and guy.
“I’m very happy for him to score these goals.”
