Pep Guardiola’s squad has returned to Manchester following a four-stop tour of the United States which included pre-season games against Celtic, AC Milan, Barcelona and Chelsea.
Now, their attention turns to the Community Shield.
This week will also see pre-season training increase for Gareth Taylor and his team with more players returning to the fold.
And with City’s Elite Development Squad and Under-18s fixtures confirmed for the upcoming campaign, they’ll be working hard on the training pitches to prepare.

MONDAY
Women’s players continue to return to training
Last week saw the initial return of Taylor’s team with a handful of senior players who weren’t part of the recent international break back at the CFA.
They’ll be joined by the rest of the squad who weren’t competing at the Olympics as they prepare for the Club’s pre-season tour to Perth, Australia later this month.

Pep Guardiola will address the media for the first time in Manchester ahead of the 2024/25 season.
He’ll field questions from the media ahead of City’s Community Shield clash with Manchester United on Saturday 10 August, with Wembley Stadium playing host to the 15:00 (UK) kick-off.
The press conference will be available live on mancity.com and the Official Man City App with a full recap available shortly after it has concluded.

The home of England will welcome two Premier League giants to the country’s capital for the first competitive fixture of the new campaign.

Special guests Shaun Goater and Andy Morrison will be alongside host Natalie Pike in the studio for our Matchday Live show. They’ll also be checking in on FG, Michael Brown and Paul Dickov who will all be pitchside at Wembley.
