“I was lucky enough to play alongside so many great players at City and obviously over the past 10 years they have had so many world class players,” Howey admits.
“That means selecting an all-time City team is far from easy!
“It took a bit of thinking, and there are a lot of other guys who could have been included, but overall I do think that this team would give anyone a run for their money.

“For my goalkeeper, I think Joe Hart has to be up there. Joe was amazing during his time at City. I was tempted to go with Shay Given as he was a top keeper too, and Shay is my mate, but I think Joe deserves to get the nod.
“For my back four, I’ve gone with Richard Dunne, Vincent Kompany, Fernandinho and Pablo Zabaleta.
“Dunney was a great player for so many years and so consistent and I’ve slotted him in at right back. Vincent Kompany was immense in everything he did for City and Fernandinho has been a wonderful player as well and is so versatile.
“And Pablo Zabaleta was such a great servant for the Club over many years.
“Ali Bernabia was like a magician when I played alongside him. I didn’t know anything about him when he joined City but I soon realised that he was a special talent.
“To have him operating in a midfield alongside two such amazing players as David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne would be a dream.
“Up top, I’ve paired Shaun Goater and Nicolas Anelka alongside Sergio Aguero. Again having been lucky enough to play with Shaun and Nicolas, I know first hand just how good they were.
“And Aguero’s record speaks for itself. What an amazing talent.
“For my manager, I’m still going to go with Kevin Keegan because of my time at City playing under him
“You could look at Roberto Mancini or Manuel Pellegrini ,who were both very successful, and then you look at Pep and what he has achieved and in the way he has done it and just say ‘wow.’
“But, as with my lot of my starting eleven, I’ll be a little biased and go for people that I have played with and that I know.
“Overall, I’m very happy with it!”
