Pep Guardiola’s side qualified as winners of the 2023 UEFA Champions League and the competition will feature the other three winners of the European tournament over the past four years as well as the winners of the Champions League in Asia, Africa, North America and South America’s Copa Liberatadores.
The 32-team competition also includes the best ranked eligible teams from around the world meaning it will bring together the most successful clubs in recent years.

O’Reilly, who has broken into Guardiola’s team in recent weeks with some brilliant individual performances, is excited about the tournament and says the squad are looking forward to it.
“It should be really good - it’s going to be a huge competition over in America and it will be a good experience,” the 20-year-old former Academy player said.

“Anything trophy-wise we want to win. It’s just the way we are as a team. We definitely want to win it and we’ll try our best to win it.”
We will play Moroccan side Wydad AC in Philadelphia on 18 June, Abu Dhabi-based Al Ain in Atlanta on 22 June and Italian giants Juventus in Orlando on 26 June.

The teams that finish in the top two progress to the Round of 16 and O’Reilly is expecting a tough test from all our Group G opponents.
“Every game will be tough because it’s the best teams from around the world,” he added.
“It will be a good experience and a good challenge, and I think it will go well. I can’t wait.”
