Nico O'Reilly has been voted as Manchester City's Etihad Player of the Season.

He sees off the strong challenges of team-mates Abdukodir Khusanov and Jeremy Doku who also made The Final 3 to cap of a wonderful campaign.

Nico, who only turned 21 last March, is our youngest ever winner of the annual fan vote, in association with the Official Supporters’ Club, two months younger than Michael Brown who also won the award as a 21-year-old in 1998.

And on the day he was named in England’s World Cup squad along with team-mates James Trafford, Marc Guéhi and John Stones, it’s cause for double celebration for the lifelong Blue.

O’Reilly has made 53 appearances for City this season, clocking up 4043 minutes to date.

And given he has featured mostly at left-back, his nine goals and six assists is a phenomenal return.

He has also been part of a defence that kept 14 clean sheets when he played.

WIN A SIGNED NICO O’REILLY SHIRT!

Of his many highlights this season, undoubtedly his brace of goals in quick succession in the Carabao Cup final against Arsenal was the pick of the bunch.

And after the Etihad Player of the Season awards for Erling Haaland (2023), Phil Foden (“024) and Josko Gvardiol (2025), he is the fourth player under the age of 25 to win the prize in a row.
