Training: Prepping for Forest clash

Pep Guardiola’s men were hard at work today as the clash with Nottingham Forest appears on the horizon.

We take on Nuno Espirito Santo’s impressive East Midlanders on Saturday as third host fourth at the City Ground.

The corresponding fixture before the turn of the year ended 3-0 to the Blues at the Etihad and we’d most certainly accept a similar result in the 12:30 (UK) kick-off this time around as we eye Champions League football for a 15th successive season.

We come into the game following a 1-0 victory at Tottenham in our last Premier League outing while Forest drew 0-0 with Arsenal on home soil in their previous top-flight assignment before this latest fixture.

The mood was good as City took to the fields of the CFA this afternoon, with all eyes on a positive result to cement our spot in the upper echelons of the table.
