City record their highest Premier League away win by beating Burnley 6-1 at Turf Moor.

The Blues race out of the blocks with three goals in the first seven minutes scored by Emmanuel Adebayor, Craig Bellamy and Carlos Tevez.

Patrick Vieira adds a fourth on 20 minutes and Adebayor adds a fifth on the stroke of half-time.

Vincent Kompany makes it six before the hour but torrential rain threatens to wash away the game – but despite the waterlogged pitch, the referee allows the game to reach its conclusion.
