Pep Guardiola celebrated his 250th Premier League game on Sunday with his 184th win in the English top-flight.

City’s 3-1 victory over Aston Villa was the boss’ latest three-point haul in the league he has dominated since arriving at the Etihad Stadium in 2016.

It puts him 24 victories ahead of the next most successful manager after 250 Premier League games – Jurgen Klopp with 160 wins.

The Catalan’s win percentage of 73.6% is the best of any permanent manager in Premier League history.

Already the most successful manager in City’s history, Guardiola has lifted the Premier League on four occasions.

The first success came in 2017/18 when the Blues became Centurions, setting a record points total that still stands.

We backed that up in 2018/19 with another title, as part of becoming the first English club to win all four domestic trophies in one season.

Guardiola’s third Premier League title was sealed in 2020/21 before again going back-to-back with the dramatic 2021/22 title sealed in unforgettable fashion against Aston Villa last May.

During his 250 matches in charge, City have scored an incredible 621 goals and boast a positive goal difference of 417 while amassing 584 points.

His side have also registered 115 clean sheets since his appointment.

Congratulations to Pep on reaching another landmark at City!
