In his 299 matches so far, the City boss has won 218, drawn 36 and lost 45. It’s a period which has seen us score a remarkable 725 goals and concede just 242, with his win percentage standing at an incredible 72.91%.
It’s now three Premier League titles under his guidance, including his first in 2018, which saw us set an English top-flight record of 100 points as we finished 19 ahead of our nearest rivals.
We then became the first side to defend the trophy in 10 years the following season as we won an unprecedented clean-sweep of domestic honours.
In total, Guardiola has won 10 major trophies in his five full seasons as City manager, meaning he has now won 31 since entering management in 2008.
However, the statistics tell only part of the story. City’s style has developed under his management, with attacking, possession-based football augmented by our sheer hard work off the ball. It’s a lethal combination.
Everyone at City would like to send their congratulations to the boss on his longevity and continued hard work. We wish him every success during the remainder of his time here.
